The 5km flat route starts and finishes in the centre of Immingham, a small town close to Grimsby. The route takes you past the Pilgrims Park and Heritage Trail. It also sends you down a lovely peaceful track called Mill Lane on the outskirts of the town. It was from the shores of Immingham that the Pilgrims fled England in 1608 to start a new life in Holland.
Washdyke Lane Immingham, North East Lincolnshire DN40 2AB, at lamp post 56 close to the footpath that leads to the Home Bargains Store. This is Opposite Beechwood Avenue. (part of this route may not have street lights at night)
